Here's the deal:
Inspired by Kim Sokol's The Monthly Daily, this blog serves as an endeavor to write something every single day, along a monthly theme. Most posts will probably be reasonably short - something that can be done in an hour or so, if not less. The important thing is that they will be done every day.
That last sentence was a lie. There will undoubtedly be days where for whatever reason - assuming there's a reason at all - I simply won't be able to get a post done. No sweat, though; I won't let a few little setbacks unravel the whole thing. I'll just catch up later. Additionally, there may be times when I'll write something but won't be able to post it the same day. The important thing is that by this time next year, I will have written 365 things.
What will the themes be? I have no idea. I probably won't have any idea what the theme for each month will be until that month gets here. Hell, I have no idea what I'm writing tomorrow.
